For over 30 years, Andy Gole, founder of Urgency Based Selling®, has taught sales professionals how to transform bold visions into breakthrough selling techniques and management strategies. Andy’s sales journey began as a college student when he successfully convinced the Math Department to move an early morning class to a later time. By pointing out that no one would register for such an early session, he influenced a decision that reflected his early understanding of persuasion and the value of bold actions. This experience became a foundational lesson that he later wove into his sales philosophy.
Since then, Andy has conducted over 5,000 sales engagements with more than 150 organizations. He launched his consulting practice, Bombadil, LLC, in a similarly bold way: after hiring an accountant who failed to make an effective sales pitch, Andy turned the tables and convinced the accountant to hire him for sales training. Through Bombadil, he has taught countless clients how to showcase their businesses, products, and services in a way that uniquely meets customer needs, reinforcing his vision of bold, confident selling.
